Online Classes has been Canceled in Jagannath University
Jagannath University has canceled online classes on Tuesdays from October 1. The university administration has decided to take all classes in person from now. As a result, in person classes will continue five days a week as before.
This information was informed on Wednesday (August 25), in a circular signed by the acting Registrar of the university, Dr. Md. Sheikh Gias Uddin. It was informed that, on Monday, a meeting on the academic and overall situation of the university was held chaired by the the Vice-chancellor of the university Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim. It has been decided that, instead of online classes every Tuesday, the classe willbe held in person as before from October 1 . Deans of all faculties, Directors of institutes, Departmental Chairmen, Registrars and Controllers of Examinations were present in the meeting.
Earlier in 2022, Jagannath University started online classes on one Tuesday of the week from the month of August. At that time, the university administration informed about the decision considering the saving of electricity and energy.
